Scian Custom Knives is the passion project of Chef Ken Heffernan. Chef Ken trained in southern Ireland and gained invaluable experience at renowned establishments like The Ivory Tower and Grapefruit Moon. Ken's culinary pursuits have taken him on a global journey, allowing him to immerse himself in diverse cuisines across Asia, North Africa, and the Caribbean.Through his career  his love  for Japanese knives flourished, ultimately inspiring the establishment of Scian Knives. Over the past decade, he has collaborated with master artisans in Osaka, Japan, and skilled local craftsmen in the Cayman Islands and Ireland to create exceptional, bespoke knives renowned for their durability and artistry.
