Fabian Martinez
As a true mexican, Fabian Martinez is a big Mezcal, Tequila and Agave spirits lover. After attending his first wine contest at Joven Sommelier in Frexeinet and finishing in 3rd place, he realizedd it was not only a passion it for tasting, but also by hitting the books on theory and by polishing his skills on the floor, but he could actually “drink and taste wine for a living”.
After finishing in 2nd place three times consecutively at the contest of “The Best sommelier of Mexico” in 2007-2009, he started the program offered by the Court of Master Sommelier, and having his “Certified Sommelier”, and following his dream to become an “Advanced Sommelier”. These days, he enjoys doing his passion as wine director at Montage Los Cabos, México and his two favorite wine regions are Valle de Guadalupe and Montalcino.
