Carrie is an expert in the field of Japanese sake and is dedicated to introducing premium products to consumers across the United States. She collaborates with 15 different distributors in 25 states to bring education, consultation, and unique events to those interested in learning more about this exceptional beverage. Carrie's passion for exploring the world of alcoholic beverages has driven her to acquire several certifications. Her love for sake has led to her being one of the few members worldwide to hold the J.S.A. Diploma issued by the Japan Sommelier Association. In 2008, she became one of the first 100 individuals to earn the Certified Advanced Sake Professional (ASP) title awarded by The Sake Education Council (SEC). Carrie continued to expand her knowledge and in 2013, she became certified by the Sake Service Institute as a Sake Advisor. In 2018, she passed the Wine and Spirit Education Trust Level 3 award in Sake with distinction and in 2021, she achieved certification from the Sake Scholar Course.
