CHRISTOPHER L. STRIETER

Christopher founded Senses with the dream to produce something special from his hometown of Occidental.
Prior to Senses, Christopher was business manager for the noteworthy Russian River Valley Pinot Noir producer Williams Selyem. Earlier in his career, he worked closely with Jess Jackson at Jackson Family Wines in corporate strategy followed by a harvest at Red Car Winery. He later ran operations for a wine fulfillment warehouse in Napa and then managed national sales for a winery out of St. Helena. He also founded an award-winning restaurant in the Bay Area before moving on to manage product operations for Cruise Automation (General Motors). He has since primarily focused on strategic planning and development for Senses.
Christopher has been recognized as one of Wine Enthusiast’s “40 under 40,” class of 2018.
He graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a Masters in Finance and received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Economics and Physics from Harvey Mudd College. He remains deeply involved with both campuses through the alumni boards and programs.
